Information handled

When you create an account, SharperTime processes your name, surname, email address, password hash, account status, and email-verification records. Payment providers return transaction references and payment status; SharperTime does not store full card details.

When you use learning features, the service may process the questions, answers, images, documents, handwriting, voice input, canvas content, and learning activity that you choose to submit. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information.

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, provide learning features, generate feedback, manage access and AI credits, reconcile payments, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Automated processing and service providers

Some learning features use automated processing to interpret submitted material and generate explanations, feedback, transcriptions, or diagrams. Information may be handled by service providers for hosting, AI processing, email delivery, payment processing, and security, only as needed to provide or protect the service.

Security and retention

Passwords and account verification tokens are stored in protected forms. SharperTime retains account, learning, security, and payment records for as long as needed to operate the service, handle support or disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect users. Retention periods may differ for backups and financial records.
