1. The service

SharperTime, operated by Sharper X (Pty) Ltd, provides mathematics learning support for Grades 8–12. Features may include questions and answers, guided practice, assessment preparation, automated feedback, lesson content, voice tools, document and image uploads, and a shared learning canvas.

2. Accounts and password security

You must provide accurate account information, verify your email address and keep your password confidential. Passwords must contain at least 15 characters. Do not share your password or verification codes. Tell SharperTime promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Access package and AI credits

A once-off payment of R35 provides 30 days of SharperTime access and 500 AI credits. The access package does not renew automatically. A new R35 purchase is required to start or extend access after it expires.

A once-off R15 AI credit top-up adds 500 AI credits to the account. A top-up does not add access days and requires active access to use the service. Unused credits remain on the account until used or the account is closed, but cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.

AI credits are usage units for SharperTime features. The number used may vary by feature and by the length or complexity of submitted text, images, documents, or voice input. Your account balance is the authoritative record of remaining credits. Credit availability does not guarantee a particular answer, outcome, or number of interactions.

4. Payments and digital delivery

Prices are shown in South African rand. Checkout is completed through the payment provider displayed at checkout. Access and credits are allocated after the payment provider confirms the transaction. If a confirmed payment is not reflected in the account, contact support with the payment reference.

5. Educational use

SharperTime is a learning aid. Automated explanations, transcriptions, diagrams, graphs, marking, and suggested solutions can contain errors. Check important work against your teacher’s instructions, official assessment materials, and trusted learning resources. SharperTime does not issue official school marks, examination results, qualifications, or certification.

6. Acceptable use and uploaded content

Use the service lawfully and for learning. You are responsible for having permission to submit any image, paper, document, recording, or other material you upload. Do not upload content that you are not authorised to share or that contains unnecessary sensitive personal information.

7. Availability and changes

Features may be updated, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued to maintain and improve the service. We will show the price and package contents before checkout. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Refunds and statutory rights

Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy and applicable South African law. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude.
